We were asked to research a selected designer, then present a poster based on a their work. I got Lubalin and chose ITC Avant Garde to work with. Fairly simple concept and seeing as the type was originally intended as a logotype only, I confinded it to the AV & Avant Garde logo. (The MGAV were merely examples of the type in other characters.)
Given quite a short amount of time to finish this, about 3/4 hours. So this was my general idea.
