For the past couple of days we've explored colour and all it's accompanying delights. Moodboarding has been added as another staple to the ever growing workflow and allows for a stream-lining of ideas for a piece. This, coupled with ever more type-lockup practice has been the focus for the end of last week and the start of this.
The piece above is meant to combine all this, but the exercise was a mainly a focus on creating paragraph classes for easy duplication in a recipe book. Again, only text and images were provided, so layout was being tested - need to get in the habit of using grids more.
In other news, Eyedesign on HowDesign forums gave me an indepth critique on some of my work. Bearing what he/she said in mind, I'll repost with their suggestions made.
